Free sync not working ?

Hi deigo. I have tried all avaialbale ports to no avail... but still not free sync for hdr gaming. Im not sure if i should contact Asus the manufactors for soke advice. It appears im stuck in limbo not getting the full effect out of monitor is very disappointing

Due to Xbox One hardware limitations, only select FreeSync displays are compatible with the console. To use FreeSync, an Xbox One must be connected to a display that supports FreeSync over HDMI (v 2.0), which is only offered by a subset of the current display
range. I looked up your monitor and it does seem that it should be compatible with the Xbox One X however I did notice that only one of the HDMI ports is actually HDMI (v 2.0). I recommend looking over the user manual and make sure the HDMI is plugged into
the correct HDMI (v 2.0) port and not the other ports.

If you confirm that it's plugged into the right HDMI port and you still cannot select the option in the video modes then, go ahead and do a

hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

Thanks for your post. Sometimes televisions and monitors can fail to broadcast information to devices that support protocols supported by the monitor. In my experience, display manufacturers usually have settings that need to be adjusted to properly allow
for those features to be used, so there may be positive results in contacting Asus.

Hey there, are you sure it supports Free Sync over HDMI? It could be over Display Port. I'd recommend to contact the manufacturer to find out.

Does your monitor support freesync via hdmi? Some monitors only support it via dp.
