    Free Movie Weekend - Total Fail


    Anyone tried to watch the free movie this weekend?

    The one with lots of subtitles that have been cut off the bottom of the screen. Bit of a waste of time really. I had to laugh.

    Watched it, terrible film, but it was nice to get it for free. They should maybe do one free film a week for XBL Gold members...

    It was Friday when I checked so maybe it was only for Friday & Saturday.
    You do have Gold I guess ? Not sure if you need that tbh.
    The movie is on Netflix also if you have that and want to watch it.

    Could it be the aspect ratio of the TV causing cut off?

    Maybe, I have a 32" TV which is only 720p and uses 16:9 aspect ratio which is a common movie ratio or so I thought.

    Mine cut off too.

    Movie kinda puts itself into "letterbox" mode, and cuts off half the bottom line.

    Got annoying really quickly.

    Are you all using a zoomed mode/+1/smart of your tv? as usually most TV's come with this set as default for some reason?
