Free Month Offer- Just got duped!

So the little box on the right side of the home screen said 'Free Month Offer' (or something like that). I clicked on it and it said I could only take advantage via that screen offer. (I usually purchase using my computer.) It then said it would charge
me the regular $9.99 if I proceeded. So I proceeded at my own risk, hoping the free offer would show up again at the end. It never did and I got an email confirming my 'free offer' costs $10.

I wish there was a little more transparency in these offers. I've seen other posts on here (for the $1 promos) sharing similar stories. (Yes, I read the fine print. I am suspicious of getting duped by a 3rd party company, but not MS) Sad face.

I would never go dumpster diving for anything less than a 12 month+2 month free gold subscription. The OP got duped

Only created one account. Just opened it a few days ago. No upgrading, no dupes, no alternates, no one else uses my console, same Xbox it was created on, no free month gold thing, just the one free live account.

I haven't made any changes to the files. I'm able to open them on other devices and computers.

Of course they are working fine now. Multiple computers here were just timing out on it here.

One thing I noticed is that there's a Terms & conditions option in
this screenshot. Can you click on that button and get me one last screenshot of those listed clearly? This will be something required for the team that will look into this. I deeply apologize for not noticing this last week. >.<
