Free month of Gold offer on Dashboard not working?

I have a credit card on it, I think that is the reason the offer popped up a few days ago. Decided to give it a a whirl as I just bought Dark Souls again a few days ago, and I probably can't beat the game without coop partners.

The deal pops up, I hit "confirm purchase" and nothing happens and the window exits a second later.

Any help? Thanks in advance.

Microsoft points not received yet.

On the 30th of January this year I renewed my Xbox Live Gold membership via a dashboard offer which included 12 months + 1 month free and 800 Microsoft points but I have not yet been given these points.

log on to your new account and look on the dashboard,somewhere there will be a join gold advert.

if you go through the options you should come across the free month offer.

be sure to turn off auto renew if you get your free month.

Sorry to hear about the Xbox Live Gold issues, Just to gain a better understanding on why you can't access the 1 Month Free Trial, have you already had an existing membership or have anyone else on the console that may have used your trials up?

You can check if you are eligible for the Xbox Live Gold trial through the steps below:

Sign in to the Subscriptions page.

If you are eligible for a free trial, you will see Gold - 1 Month Free as a subscription offer. Hit
Next.

If asked for, add a credit card to your account. If you already have a payment option on file, you can use that.

Follow the prompts to complete your signup process.

But like you said, you have already had a card on it, so you just may have already used your free trial. Let me know how the steps above work for you!

Well, this is one way to solve it. The free gold time for a month offer has been replaced by another offer: a month of gold time for only 1 dollar. And this offer actually works; no errors. Thank you very much.

I saw the offer on dashboard however when I went through with the purchase the offer changed to free play days. The offer was buy a year of gold and receive rainbow 6 seige free, there was also something about a deal for the 3 month and 6 month subscriptions.
I'm sorry I don't have a screenshot of the deal as I said it changed immediately after purchase of the year subscription.
