Free month of gold not working

I recently just made this account and tried getting a free month of gold by applying my billing information to the account and purchasing a free month of Xbox Live Gold Membership. I did so and soon after I receive an email from billing saying that my purchase
was cancelled. I tried repeating the process but it says only one free gold membership is allowed per account. I'm just wondering if I can get a membership still.

Hello,

I acticated my Free Month of Gold, using a credit card, but my region is USA and I'm from Brazil.

But it's not working on my Xbox. It is Xbox LIVE Free and not Gold yet.

What should I do?

When I try to activate the free month again, the site won't let me.

One Month Free Gold Not Working?

Hey mate, deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download the profile has success when syncing up gold subs that have issues like this.

If you commerce page is saying it's active and the above doesn't work, give phone support a buzz and they should be able to get it working for you:

Delete and re-download profile:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

 

The free month is only available by creating a new account. So you would need to create another account in order to get the free month.

 

Hi! It seems to me that the only way to resolve this is by either paying for a subscription to gold or creating a new account. Hope this helps.
