Free month gold wouldn't process

yesterday on my 360 said try gold status for one month free. When I went to confirm purchase I got an error code. Read on web that servers were down. Today (03/15/2018) when I turned on my 360 the free offer waz gone and I still don't have gold membership.
Can anyone please help. Thank you

OK asking this for about the gazillionith time, filled out a survey and still got no resolution. Man for a Microsoft product, it sure does stink. I updated my credit card expiration and 3-digit security code. Then tried to take 1 month free Gold subscription.
Wouldn't process. Then tried to pay $9.99. Wouldn't process. From there I've been in an endless loop of useless information. The chat never comes up and there's no phone number to call you or email address to send an email.

I'm not finding the Xbox Live Gold Code on the box...What should I do?

There is no code in the box for the free month. Every new console comes with a free month of gold for up to 3 gamertags. In order to get the gold you have to create a new account. The option is given during the account creation process.

There is no code in the box for the free month. Every new console comes with a free month of gold for up to 3 gamertags. In order to get the gold you have to create a new account. The option is given during the account creation process.

Have you gone through the process to sign up to Xbox LIVE? If you choose Free Membership, you will be given the One Free Month of Xbox LIVE Gold. Is this your first time using Xbox LIVE sign up? There is a limit to how many gamertags are eligable for the
one month free.

But like I said above, if you have been through the sign up to Xbox LIVE process and there is no text anywhere stating you have a 1 Month Free Gold Membership, then you may be out of luck.

The free month of Xbox Live gold can be redeemed during the account creation process and cannot be added to an existing membership.

The free month is available by creating a brand new account during the account creation process by choosing yes to Join Live and then choosing Upgrade Later when it gives you the gold options. Every console comes with a free month for up to 3 gamertags.
