No free month of gold for cloud storage failure

I recently recieved a message on my xbox saying i will recieve a free 1-month credit towards my gold membership, and i did not have to do anything to make it happen. I have not yet recieved the free month.

 

3 Free months in Hulu w/ gold membership, HELP!

Hi, I bought a gold membership for 3 months in the xbox dashboard with a 25% discount and it also comes with 3 free months in hulu plus. i have recieved the membership but i haven't recieved the 3 free months on hulu plus. what should i do?

Do i recieve a code on the mail to recieve the 3 free months on hulu plus?

 

You can only get the free month during the account creation process. Once the account has been created it's not possible to go back to it. You would need to create a new account.

 

I only created my account yesterday and my gold has expired.EXPLAIN?!!!!!!!!

 

If you are having issues with your membership expiring you should contact phone support for more assistance. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269.

However, taking a look at the achievements earned on the gamertag that you're posting with it seems as though that tag was created almost a month ago, if not more.

 

If you call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and register your console with Microsoft, they will give you a code for 1 FREE month of live service.

Just contact and explain. They used to be given out more freely, though if you persist and recently bought a console, they will give you the introductory time.

Of my first 3 months back on live after a cpl yrs away, I got them all free:

2 by calling in and registering new system, one code came with system, now am on a 3-month membership I purchased.

I have already spent hundreds on gms & DLC's, they get their $ back, thus the policy to hand out service codes in beginning.
