    So, I received a message from Microsoft a few weeks ago stating that I was going to receive three months free Xbox Live due to problems with Titanfall. I am just curious as to when I can expect to receive this?

    First i've heard of this offer being made.Are you sure it's a legit email?

    You may also want to change your gamertag as you'll probably get a forced name change at some point.

    haven't heard this either and many of us been playing this since launch - i would check its a genuine email first before clicking any links.

    free gold weekends just let you play online for free you still need to have gold to download stuff that requires a gold membership like the free games for gold members.

    in order to download Games with Gold for free, you will need a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription, any free trials will not count as Gold to allow purchasing those Games with Gold games for free

    Because they are free with a gold membership at no extra cost. Yes you have to pay for gold but there is no increase in gold pricing thus the games are free...with gold. Games with Gold.

    Xbox One Games with Gold games require that you have a gold subscription in order to continue playing them for free. If you renew your gold, you'll be able to play Forza 6.

    The Lego game is not free as part of Games with Gold. It's just free as part of a separate promotion. So that one is free to own whether you continue gold or not.
