Free games with gold?

Games with Gold is a far better service than it started out

 

XBOXADDICT1980, heck Deals with Gold is even better (in my opinion). I jump all over those all the time.

 

Complaining about something you are getting for free? Microsoft doesn't have to give us free games, If I don't like a game I delete them and move on.

 

Now lets all think here....... why would MS GIVE away big, current titles???? Who with any common sense would expect a game like Watch Dogs or TF to be free with Gold????? People amaze and disappoint me all at once......

 

Kingvas78, I'm not saying they should give away brand new games. I'm saying that they should offer the same games that they do on the 360 free games (dishonored being the current game). If the PS4 can do it, then Microsoft should be able to as well.

Apparently you haven't looked at the PS4's free games this month. They're crap. I could download them right now, but no way am I playing that garbage.

 

So you want backwards compatibility? that requires hardware emulation that can be difficult and doesn't mean it will work very well, which is something that the PS4 also does not have, they have a overpriced rental streaming service.

 

MGS was a good buy (IMO) @ $17.50. The actual story was short..... took me 179 minutes to finish. But then unlocking all the side missions was neat. I'm waiting to see what comes up for September....

 

I hate to be the guy that posts the obvious message.... if you want to play an Xbox 360 game, get an Xbox 360.

 

Huh? The only good ps4 free game has been outlast maybe trine 2 But they are on par with x1 free games. The ps 3 games you can DL must be ps now you're talking about. The prices to use ps now in its beta form are absolutely awful and you stream the games
you don't DL them.

 

Eggnogga, I had a 360... the hard drive clip broke and I couldn't save. So I got an xbox one. Why would I spend even more money to get a 360?

 

It's still early days. Games With Gold will get better as time goes on and more games are released thus creating a back catalog of decent games just ripe for GWG.

I'm also a PS+ subscriber and the PS4 side of it is also getting a lot of complaints regards the indie games being chosen.

I downloaded Dishonored to my 360 and bought the DLC whilst it was 50% just so I could play the dlc which I'd previously bought on the PS3.

Brilliant game and best offered across all services of late IMO.

 

What the OP is asking for is not hard for MS to deliver. All thats required is an update to flash the X1 bios to allow specially coded 360 digital (not disc) games to run on the X1.

Who knows. They may even sell a few consoles by implimenting it.

 

I got a PS4, I just got rid of the PS4, that has really mediocre games and nothing actually that special at all, xbox one is the place to be.
