Free games with gold?

I'm really upset about the selection of the free games you get on the one. You are able to get the whole Dishonored game for the 360, which is cool. On the other hand, if you bought the one (which is supposed to be a better console for more money), you are
stuck with mediocre arcade games. I downloaded both games this month and was not impressed. Strike suit zero was a bad game with terrible controls. Crimson Dragon was decent but I still didn't like the controls. The fact that I can't even download 360 games
is very frustrating due to the fact that Fallout 3 is my favorite game. Xbox should really consider making up for these bad choices in the future, because PS4 is putting all of their old games up for download. It sucks, because I really love microsoft and
the xbox. I don't want to switch consoles, but I might be considering it if things don't get better.

Nomad2001, this was a problem and not an intentional offer.

The problem was highlighted on Eurogamer

Definitely not part of Games With Gold promotions.

Seems like that game was posted as free by mistake. I saw it last night too. But it was never on the schedule to be free this month as far as I know.

 

Dont come here and flat out lie. Uncharted, God of War or any other PS3 exclusive is available for download on PS4.

Games with Gold will get better with time. And what is not a good game to you, may be awesome to another. Everyone has different tastes.

Also, if you find 6 games interesting in a year on the Xbox One and download and play them, that is 6 games that you would not have ever owned in the first place. They are Free! C'mon MAN.

 

I didn't say you couldn't get PS3 games on the PS4. I said you couldn't get 360 games on the One.

I'm just disappointed because you should be able to download Dishonored for free even if you have an xbox one. I consider is completely unfair that if you have the better console, you aren't getting the better games as well.

The argument that "They are free!" is not a good one... because as I said before, you can get Dishonored for free on the 360! I want actual games, not arcade games. They aren't even awesome arcade games like Limbo or Trials.

 

In your opinion these games are not good. But what about the thousands of others that have downloaded and loved them? We are a community, and we should be happy with the service, not just because we
have Games/Deals with Gold, but because people out there are getting games that perhaps they want. I do not care for some of the games that have been released. So I just do not download them. But I know, that there are 10's of thousands of people who have.
And good for them.

And yes, they are free is a good argument. The reason why it is a good argument is because, you ultimately are getting games for free throughout your membership. These are games that you have either owned and traded in, and have the ability to re-download
it and keep it. Or it is a game that you never had a chance to play, and now can. Or it is a game you never thought you would have liked and now can try it.

It is quite simple.... download the games you like, disregard the games you do not.

 

Yes, it is my opinion. I wanted to share it and know if anyone else is feeling the same. I know that people have different preferences in games. I am an RPG fan (if you missed that Fallout 3 is my favorite game) but I always give different game a try. Which
is why I downloaded both of the games this month. I did play them, so this isn't coming from no where. All I'm asking is why we are not able to have 360 games as well?

 

Well, perhaps because we quite a few AAA games that have released. And perhaps in time, they may come.

 

If you want yo know if anyone shares your opinion, you can just check one of the dozens of other threads on this forums with people complaining just like you.

 

Would I like better games? Sure, but I ok with what they're giving especially with the limited amount of games available.

Also give Strike Suit a chance. The controls are good once you get used to it.

 

Because there is no backwards compatibility between the One and the 360. It really isn't hard to understand why we can't have 360 games.

 

In all honesty I think games with PSPLUS destroys Games With Gold. Always has. Generally speaking I've enjoyed my 360 and ONE more so then my PS3/PS4… but this is where they have XBOX completely beat. This is of course… just my opinion.

 

When people realize that the Xb 360 is a product and the XB one is a entirely SEPARATE product that happens to play games of the same title, and made by the same company... we can move on from this comparison of a 8 year old product with 1000s of games
to a product not even a year old with 50 games

 

^^Ill agree and also say thats a bad business move. You pay top dollar for top games. For lesser games you dont pay as much.
