Free Games with Gold. Xbox One

I had the 360 and liked getting the free games, when i looked at getting the Xbox one it was said by MS that they would also receive free games with Gold starting this May if i remember correctly. I still have not heard of any releases yet ......

All Xbox One Games with Gold require an active Gold Subscription in order to play them. Xbox 360 ones do not.

Scroll to the bottom where it says "Games with Gold Free Games Offer" and it says exactly how the free games with gold works on Xbox One.

What are they supposed to give you out of the huge expansive library of games they don't have? Lococycle so everyone can complain about the first crappy free game they got for having Gold? Its going to be at least until next fall 2015 before they start giving
out games with gold on Xbox One. The damn library is just too limited.

 

Most likely Microsoft will talk about Games with Gold at E3, but the Xbox One game library is small and until the Xbox One has a bigger indie library then we may see two games a month.

 

if i were Microsoft, i'd let gamers choose which games they want in the program. it'd be the ultimate way of involving your community and it stops the complaining when it's what we're choosing ya know. now of course they won't put all new games up as options
lol .. but having a list to choose from even if they're subpar games would be a better way to do it.

 

^ I would like that, of course people will still complain, but what you gonna do eh? Personally, I'm happy because I consider GWG to be a bonus ontop of Xbox Live.

 

I thought the Xb1 was basically a pc .

Could they not give us some old pc arcade games .

Even my p power mobile phone has loads of free games and apps.

 

Microsoft have said once DX12 comes to the Xbox One (2015 I think) it will be easier to port games over from the PC, but that's a long way away

 

I would love to have my Full House Poker game back love that dang game.....

Im waiting for Ryse to become free. Game looks awesome but to short to drop 40 bucks on it.

 

^^ Rent it for a few bucks and return it after the weekend.

 

I would like that concept, choosing what games are in the program but I imagine it would be hard to strike up right? Given the vote time and then the time to acquire the rights to sell for free? Or am I going over the edge with that?
