free games with gold on xbox one.. equals pitiful

I think Guacamele is a fun game,nice tight control and very humorous. I didn't think I would like it but I gave it a try and found out it's a great game. Plus it's free yee haw!

Hi there,

All Xbox One Games with Gold require an active Gold Subscription in order to play them. Xbox 360 ones do not.

Scroll to the bottom where it says "Games with Gold Free Games Offer" and it says exactly how the free games with gold works on Xbox One.

Had a wee jam of it last night and it's a game that I haven't played so it suits me. Sure it may not be the most appealing out there, but I will give any game a try. Also getting your hopes up for high quality free games this early after a consoles launch
is just a recipe for a let down.

 

@MVP270 Just please stop. Based on your comments you know little about what gaming is about nor the business sense to understand something like this. You have been given the opportunity to have 2 fantastic games Guacamelee and Max...and one less so...Halo
Spartan Assault. You sound like you are 12 with the whining about "kiddie games". None of the titles are "kiddie games". Pull your head out from wherever you stuck it and realize the world does not revolve around "your likes".

 

I don't mind what they give us. I was a continuous gold member for 6 years or so before GfG.

 

I have not had the chance to play Guacamelee yet, but my mates have been telling me it's great fun. Even if I dislike the game, I did not pay anything for it - "but, you pay for Gold which pays for the free games".. well, I had
1 month Gold given to me (thanks Unreal), but I consider GWG offerings to be free because even if we got no free games I would still continue to happily pay for XBL.

 

There have been many that have been great. I hope they keep coming.

 

I can't say deal wth it... because the competition is getting better stuff. ..

 

@mastaslice I have the ps4 and I got strider for free this month so I wouldn't say it's better. And Guacamele is 14.99 on psn.

 

I posted about it already in the Guacamelee thread already, so I'll just summarize here: I really like Guacamelee! STCE.

Exactly, also, we all would like to see games we prefer with GwG, I would like to see GwG offer the likes of Conkers Bad Fur Day, or Conker Live And Re-Loaded, or DMC, or Ninja Gaiden over games like Guamamelee, and I bet I'm not alone, not by a long shot.

 

Hello everyone

I've never been able to download any of the "Games with Gold" for the Xbox 360 because I'm stuck with the 20 GB HDD (I'm using three 32 GB Flash Drive, a 16 GB Flash Drive, & a 8 GB Flash Drive to store my "installed Xbox 360 games").

In regards to upgrading the HDD, it is really difficult to find a Microsoft one (lots of 3rd party ones) and you're going to have issues with games if you don't have them. Also, since the official ones that I've seen were all previously used, I am not risking
loosing my data over that.
