    Hi there, when I sign in to xbox.com on my tablet I can see the free games available for this month but I can't install them from the tablet. One message (for Xbox 360 game) says it looks like I don't have an applicable device linked with my account (I do
    but it's out of warranty) and the other message (for Xbox one games) says to complete the transaction from my xbox. When I sign in to our xbox 360 I can't find this month's games. I have downloaded the games before...If I select Go Gold I just go around in
    circles...Sub does not expire until next year. If I go into Settings/account error code 8C150009 pops up. Automatic updates are on...any ideas??? Thanks!

    Sorry to hear you had this issue. However, the free games for Gold that I have got were free. As a matter of fact, I am downloading Thief at this moment and it was a free Games for Gold selection.

    Why in the world do I need a credit card to download a free game with gold from this website?! When I first joined Xbox it was not like this. This needs to be changed so that if you have gold and you want to download one of the free monthly games, you will
    be allowed to do so without using a credit card. A majority of people who play xbox are 15 or younger. Not all those people have credit cards, they but the prepaid-codes from Walmart in order to get live. This needs to be changed immediately.

    I'm having this same issue. I just got it with the free games for gold and when I dry to download it, it keeps saying "can't download". I hope that something is figured out soon. It happens when I try to download the other free game for gold, as well.
