Free Game! - for those of us who bought a console that didn't include a game!

My mommy and Daddy cut off my funding and worse yet my sister took my pacifier. Even worse than that is I bought an Xbox one last year and it's cheaper now. How dare they. Man this is such a just cause! Here is what we need to do.

I've been married for 15 years and to this day I have no medals or awards for this, so no OP, just no, you deserve NO free game!

 

Does it seem right that less than a year ago the xbox one cost $500 and included zero games, and now it is $350 with one or two games?

Every product depreciates over time... welcome to the real world, get used to it or get out.

I would like to request that microsoft give out a free game download to those of us who bought the xbox one over the past year and didn't receive any games with it. And I'm not talking those games with gold arcade
titles either.

I would like to request that you find a way to return all of the fun and enjoyment you got from having your system for that time period. Once you've eradicated all relevant experience
from your mind, then I fully support your request for a free DL.

I am a huge xbox nerd. And currently own two xbox ones (one is in my basement). One of them is the Day one edition.

*Yawn*... nobody cares.

I bought my systems for $500 and $400. Both did not come with any games. Now comes word that they will be on sale for $350 including games such as sunset overdrive, or TWO assassins creed titles.

All you had to do was wait until a better deal came along... kind of like the one being offered now... but you didn't want to, did you? Your impatience is not MS's fault... BTW,
have you found a way to erase all that game time/experience yet?

How is this fair to the rest of us that already own the system which is less than a year old?

How is it fair that those of us in the preview program help to shape a better xbox experience over the past year and to not be rewarded for it?

So it isn't a reward to actually experience the newest updates before those who aren't in the program? I bet all the people who signed up for it are feeling pretty stupid now.

I understand there is games with gold, but lets be real, those aren't the best games. I don't want to play crimson dragon, it's not very good.

Some people enjoy those games... some people want to play Crimson Dragon and think it is good. You don't speak for them.



I hope I have gotten my point across and if you agree with me please forward this on or reply. Or if someone can organize a petition that might get microsofts attention.

If the point you wanted to get across is that you're yet another whiner with a sense of entitlement, who feels you should be compensated for your own impatience and ignorance,
then great job... you've gotten your point across perfectly.



In the end I just want to say that I love my xbox and the changes that have occured to it over the past year. It's an amazing console. Thanks microsoft.

If you actually loved your Xbox and how it's grown over the past year, then you'd cherish all the fun and experience it has provided you in that time. You'd come to realize that
all that enjoyment has value. Speaking of the value of all that time and enjoyment brings... have you found a way to erase it from your brain yet? All for a free game DL?

 

I bought gas yesterday from the Shell station for $2.75 a gallon, and today it is $2.69 a gallon. I am demanding a check for the difference or at least a free fill up since they dropped the price since I last bought gas, it such bull that a company can drop
prices and not pay every single person that bought it before the price drop. Ugh, at the world!

It almost took a whole two days for one of these threads to show up lol. The dude complaining about the Sunset Overdrive bundle pre-order screw job has a legit complain though.

I don't think he does at all. Make sure you have funds available when they need to be available.

 

They offer a free game every month.

So you buy a new car, next year a rebate is offered on that same car. Even the same year, model, color and tires. You going to go in there and say you want something for free because you paid more?

 

Maybe I miss read his post. I "pre-order" games all the time time but I usually pay them off in their entirety. I assumed that he did that with the console. So take CoD AW which will ship here in the next few days. If I pre-ordered it form say Amazon
for delivery on the fourth and walked in to Best Buy on Sunday and it is $20 off that would rub me the wrong way a bit. I'd have to find that guys original thread but it may have been from the same retailer (Microsoft). In that case it's even worse IMO.
A return if possible or a credit should be warranted. I bought a rather large TV several years ago and it wasn't cheap. I walked in to Best Buy a couple weeks later and noticed a price drop of $1,200.00 I went home and checked my receipt and I was eligible
for a credit.

 

I used to be able to get a Sausage and Egg McMuffin for 99p. And they are £1.99

I feel abused as an early adopter to the S&E McMuffin range, that i don't get them at the prices i used to get them at.

Sales come and go, and systems have always gone down from launch.

 

I bought the X1 full price not too long ago and now it's $50 less. But it's more of a "well ***" moment than a rage-inducing situation. The way I see it is I spent the full price to play it sooner. If I really wanted to save money on the console, I'd wait
a few years.

 

But now we have McDonalds Monopoly so you can "win" and free Egg McMuffin. So if you measure it over time the price drops back down to 99 or even less depending on your luck. Maybe thats what MS needs to do. Buy a console with a scratch ticket inside
for the potential for free stuff!!!
