Free Fall map says unavailable

What'd Activision say about the issue?

 

Activision told me to uninstall the game and all addons and shut off the Xbox for 10 mins, place the disc back into the xbox, then proceed to re-install the updates. They said it should work itself out. If not, go back to their support and ANOTHER agent
will help me out. Jumping through hoops boys and girls...jumping through hoops. I'll post an update after all of those steps are completed.

Yup I was told this by someone bright spark and it made no difference whatsoever.. So good luck with that one... You will watch the world go by as you spend forever re-installing all the updates, but at the end of it all…. The map is STILL
unavailable.

 

Sooooo......uninstalled the game and addons, re-installed it al back again and STILL UNAVAILABLE!!! I then went back to Activision and gave them my case # and told them my results and they seemed to already have a cookie cutter response. "The message is
unintentional for those that have purchased the map pack, xbox is working on it." LET THE FINGER POINTING BEGIN LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! Activision was surprisingly rude about the issue and kept stating it was an Xbox issue and suggested that if i had actually
purchased the map pack then I wouldn't have the message at all. So grab your ankles and bear down, cuz we're all going to end up taking it dry from Microsoft & Activision.

 

God i hate it when im right.... Or do I ???

 

Yes ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time again where everyone points the finger at each but in the meantime nothing is solved. So like the nuclear attach drills of old say… Bend at the hip, grip your ankles tightly in your hands and wait to
be shafted once again..

 

I just wanted to add myself to the list of people experiencing this problem. I hope there's still an effort being made to resolve it.

 

To be perfectly honest I don’t think anyone is making any kind of effort to resolve this. Microsoft points the finger at Activision and say it’s a problem with them. Activision point the finger at Microsoft and say nope it’s them. Judging by
CoKeN151’s post it seems Activision couldn’t care a less, to the point that they even hinted it was our own fault for not buying their grossly overpriced season pass. In my honest opinion, and mainly going by the fact that there is a huge lack of input from
Microsoft and Activision here, I cannot see this problem being resolved anytime soon, and I personally will not be buying any more games, add-ons, season passes, or anything else Microsoft or Activision related until this matter is corrected.

 

UPDATE: I didn't even try to download FreeFall again... I was just wasting time in COD Multiplayer, then what do you know, I'm playing Freefall Very strange map - nowhere to hide. Just letting everyone know - it just showed up for me?!!! Thanks (unknown
