Free Fall map says unavailable

It's an Activision thing because people are having the same problems on PS4

quick questions

1. Has anyone downloaded the Festive gun skins (christmas looking)? I have done that and I can't access them either and also

2. Everyone keeps talking about a manual code. I did not receive a code in my COD: Ghosts. Was it only certain editions of the game? (for the record I got prompted as well and then the map says "unavailable". Not sure why I was prompted since I don't the
360 version and have not bought the map. I am a little confused if the Free Fall was supposed to be purchased, free for some, or free for all. Can anyone clear that element of it up?

 

Certain versions of the game (COD Ghosts) came with the Free Map. Mostly I understand for anyone that had it on pre-order, some came with it on limited edition Day One promos, and is was normally a DLC (downloaded content) by way of a code on a paper slip
inside the game box. Hope this helps..

Microsoft, this is absolutely ridiculous. The XB1 has been out for 2 months now and you guys can't figure this out still!!!??

 

Why don't people read posts. It isn't an MS issue it is at Activision's end. Still no reply from Activision after numerous emails, now thats customer service for you!

 

try sanding the game disc with 220 grit sand paper and then polishing it and buffing it out.

 

Ok. Once you go to multiplayer, go to "store." When you go there press "X" to redeem your code manually. One you put in the 25 character code it will allow you to download the map. From there it will say you are eligible for the free download. Redeem it
that way and it should completely download. Hope this helps!

 

This method works ok when you first download it, but if for some reason you need to reinstall then you back to the problem that it says you are entitled to the map but then says its unavailable... which is what has been wrong for months...

 

I have no idea what my code is - I didn't keep it either - why would I - we're in the age of Information - you already have my code - so make the MAP "Available" so I can download it already - this is ridiculous!!! It's February 1st tomorrow - are you
kidding me?! Fix the "Unavailable" flaw and get your paid users their content!!!

 

february 7th and the map download is still "unavailable"...

 

Feb 21 and still not fixed. Activision or not, MS needs to address us. Are they too busy scrambling to catch up to PS4 sales

Just got done chatting with Xbox live chat and they referred me to Activision since they say the download comes from Activision directly. They claim the feed for the DLC is fed from Activision directly and the issue needs to be addressed by them. Sweep under
the rug much????

 

Another reason why I have not purchased the season pass, if they can’t honour their free map I’m not paying for the rest.
