    Free 1 month gold special offer not working

    Today I just got a 1 month free gold offer but whenever I conform purchase I get this message saying. "Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later. Status code: 80070057". And when I try later it pops up with the same message. What
    do I do. How do I get my free month of gold?

    I report and block every single one, but I don't understand these messages in any case. You can't stack a 48 hour code on top of a current Xbox Live subscription so why keep creating accounts and spamming people? Is it to get them to come to the website
    and socially engineer their info? A phishing site?
