Free code for Fallout 3 only redeemable on Xbox One?

It is 100% safe to say you should have this available on your 360. Your experience is not the norm; in fact, you're the only one I've seen run into this!

The team that is contacting you are above the group that you contact on the phone/chat teams. They are better equipped to handle unique situations like this. Be sure to check your voicemail and email for contact from them!

I've received a voicemail and email from someone 2 days ago but haven't gotten a reply back. I'm sure they're working on it though.

Misses Quinzel - I hope all is well with you.

I wanted to update you on this issue. Apparently, this was (at least per the rep I spoke with) has been the first time he, or his team has heard of this problem. He said they did a few different test scenarios to see if they can replicate the issue but couldn't.
I don't know whether to feel special or not about that, . With that said, though, I did happen upon another thread that looks to be the same issue - Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

Anyway, they did provide a credit to my account so that I can purchase the "Xbox 360" version. So that was definitely amazing and unexpected. So all is well and the case should be closed tomorrow.

I can't thank you enough for digging into this and not giving up. True customer service at it's finest. If there is anyway I can provide feedback to someone or via a survey please direct me on how to do so.

Oh, wonderful news! I had also not seen this, and it was definitely unique for me. Thanks for finding that other thread. I will look into those users, too.

I've ensured that you should receive a survey from the forums. You should also receive one from the rep that helped you out. Please remember that these are two different surveys, so fill them out for your experience with the forums and with that rep respectively.
If you don't receive a survey, or even if you do, you are more than welcome to post back any feedback and I will be sure to pass that along to the right people.

I really appreciate the kind words, and am excited that we were able to come to some sort of resolution. Hopefully we are able to figure out what happened here and stop it from happening to others!

Hello! I bought The consol with fallout 4 cd at the time fallout 4 was relesed and I got the code for fallout 3 with it. Fallout 3 is an xbox 360 game from The start could that be a problem trying to download to xbox one?

Makes no sence selling a box with fallout 4 to xbox one and a redeem code for fallout 3 to xbox 360 😑👈

Hey, Siano! Sorry for the delay in response. My favorite time of winter is when you get so sick you need antibiotics (except not really).

Anyway, I am better now, I have your PM, and I'm going to look into it a little further.

For clarification, we've been giving Fallout 3 codes to users that pre-ordered the Fallout 4 game since July; backward compatibility came out in November. This game should work on your Xbox 360, and I want to make sure that is the case. I'll post back later
today or tomorrow morning with our next steps.

I got word back from the team that they would like you to
contact phone support. I specify phone support because they have Billing specialists that should be able to get you the help you need. Let them know that your Fallout 3 is showing as an Xbox One game instead of a 360 game, and they should know how to get
you sorted out.

If they give you a resolution that you are not happy with, or do not give you a resolution at all, please send me another private message with the reference number they should provide you. We will be able to see what our next steps are from there.
