    Wow anyone who purchases Black Ops 3 for Xbox 360, gets the free download game Black Ops (yes the first Black Ops game). I'm sure most of the gamers who buy every COD game, where disappointed that they gave a free game download on something they already
    have. 1st thought: Wouldn't it of been better if they simply just added in all the stuff that the Xbox One version has. No they were thinking as a marketing tool, let's give the hardcore gamers still using Xbox 360 -less, that way the only way they will get
    there true Black Ops 3 fix (addiction), is for them to go out and spend another $60 plus dollars and $350 plus on the Xbox One, then our sales will increase and everyone is happy. Sorry, but what about the $60 I already wasted, I'm guessing the executive that
    probably came up with this idea, gets to keep his job for another year, and honest gamers are like, What ... the free download I get for punishment for still buying Xbox 369 stuff and my montky membership on Xbox live, oh Joy, oh thank you for giving me something
    free on something I already have. 2nd thought: Wouldn't it of been better, to give free download map of Nuk3town, no that didn't happen either, and never will happen since Nuk3town map will not occur on Xbox 360 version (not even the download buying kind),
    maybe the executive will get to keep his job for two more years, good for him. Maybe Santa with his reindeer this year can make it happen, no he's not real ... and neither is the Xbox 360 version of Black Ops 3 real, maybe I'm just having a bad dream, when
    I wake up, I'll be in Kansas on November of 2015 picking my pre-ordered Xbox 360 REAL version of tge real Xbox 360 Black Ops 3. Or maybe what I really should be saying is, this is reality, even the game designers can fail us, SAY IT ISN'T SO Joe, SAY IT ISN'T
    SO... Sorry kid, welcome to the real world.

    Backwards Compatibility/Previously Purchased Game

    The problem I am having is that my xbox one store does not offer a free download of Black Ops 2, even though I bought the game in 2014. When I started up my dust-covered xbox 360, the console storage contained Black Ops 2 and the download history listed
    black ops 2. Evidently, I do not wish to buy the game again.

    I'm trying to play my call of duty Black ops 3 Xbox 360 game on my Xbox One S. But it won't load or download or anything how do I get it to play? It is a physical disk

    Black Ops 3 Xbox 360 game is not compatible with the Xbox One. To play Black ops 3 you will need the Xbox One version of the game.

    Yes, that does work with backwards compatible games, but Black Ops 3 is not a backwards compatible game. There are several games that have been released on both the 360 and One and are seen as separate versions of the game. Sometimes the publishers have
    deals where you can upgrade to the One version for free if you purchase the 360 version, but it doesn't work backwards.

    In order to play Black Ops 3 on the 360, you would need to purchase the 360 version.

    If the content isn't in your download history then it means that it wasn't purchased with this account. You can only re-download content from the gamertag that purchased the content.

    Also, if you have the Black Ops 2 Season pass you'd download the content from the in-game store on Black Ops 2, it would be listed as Free.
