Free 1 month of XBOX LIVE without credit card?

Hi, just wondering if there is absolutely ANY WAY to get the free 1 month of XBOX LIVE GOLD without putting a payment option.

I mean; I can get the free month, but it says I need to put a credit card even though it costs $0.

I don't know what to do. I don't have a credit card; and my parents will never let me use theirs because of something that happened in the past with me accidently purchasing like 400$ worth of stuff by mistake.

Please help me here if you can. I don't care what I need to do. Just don't have a credit card or payment option.

That is not true. Unless there's been very recent changes, the free 1-month trial should not need credit card information. You only need a windows live account set up online, and use that to join to xbox live. Once your 1-month trial runs out, you can purchase
3-month or 1-year cards in store and redeem code, without need for a credit card or paypal.

There is nothing you can do to redeem the 1 month free without a credit card because after the month of free gold it charges the credit card 9.99, unless the auto renewal was shut off before the free month is up

 

Sorry, but no. In order to get the free month you have to enter a payment method. There is no way around it.

 

As what Smwutches said, there is no way around the free month gold. The reason why is because so you don't make multiple accounts under the same console and keep getting free gold.

 

Unfortunately, there is no way to get free XBOX Gold at all for FREE. You must actually pay for it. Sorry for any in-convenience

that is not true you just need to have the payment method on file so that when your trial ENDS the system can renew it again. as long as you turn off the auto renewal the trial IS free, as in the payment method does NOT get charged UNLESS you forget to
turn off the auto renewal before the 30 day trial ends.

 

What davemcfly85 said was correct. Although you need to put your credit card information in to get the free month, you can just cancel the auto-renewal and when the free 30 days are up you will either have to buy a subscription via physical store or use
your credit card to start an auto-renewing subscription.

JUST MAKE SURE that if all you want is the free month, that you cancel that auto-renewal as soon as you can so that your card doesn't get charged after the 30 days are up...
