    My PayPal was used fraudulently and charged for a hacker/scammer's purchase on a DIFFERENT account to mine!

    I only have one account on xbox which is this one - . I have never used my PayPal to pay for purchases on Xbox Live, I only use my Debit Card. So you can imagine my shock when last night it pops up on my phone - payment of £6.79 to Microsoft
    Billing successful, reason: Gamertag change. I rushed to check and my Gamertag is still the same, so someone on Xbox has fraudulently stolen my PayPal account to change their OWN Gamertag.

    This is terrible and I have contacted PayPal who have raised the issue with Microsoft. I have phoned MS xbox support and they directed me to 'email' Xbox Enforcement Team to see what action they will take against the individual who has done this.

    I need advice from the Enforcement Team as to what action they will take against the fraudster - (preferably you should BAN THEM!!) - once my money is refunded, which it will be very soon I hope. I've already cancelled my PayPal from being used to buy anything
    more from Microsoft Billing and I really think that fraud and stealing money is a very serious issue and should be seriously addressed by the Enforcement Team once my money is returned.

    Advice please! Can I get a private email from an Enforcement Team member?!

    A player may be offline (or playing single player) at the time of the suspension, but his or her online status at that particular moment may have no bearing on the reason behind the enforcement. If you receive a suspension and are not sure why it occurred,
    please check the email sent to your Microsoft Account or view your Enforcement History on enforcement.xbox.com.

    There is no way to contact the enforcement team directly. If you know their gamertag you would have to file a complaint on them via the console in order for them to investigate the other user,

    NEEDING TO SPEAK WITH THE ENFORCEMENT TEAM

    The only way to report someone is via your console.The enforcement team only reply in the ban/suspension forums to tell someone why they are banned/suspended.

    Block comms with these people on your console as well.

    Anything else that happens that is not on xbox live is up to you to sort out.

    You are not allowed to call out gamertags on the forums.
