    my email address is attached to a gamertag on Xbox, and I want the gamertag removed PERMANENTLY from my email account. This is NOTHING to do with my email address.

    Do you plan on wasting his time the same way your so-called reps wasted mine?

    Instead of solving my problems, they made them worse. I now get more spam than ever from Microsoft.

    I know that my email address has been used without my permission because I am getting emails from Xbox about points purchases. (This was in my original note.)

    This is a personal gmail address, and is not a Windows Live ID.

    Purchases Being Made Without Authorization

    I would report the purchases to your credit card company as a fraudulent purchase. Then I strongly recommend you switch your email address and use a different password.

    One word of caution. If you can provide a different email address than your xbox live one, I'd say use it instead. Just in case it happens to be a phisher. In this case it doesn't sound like it's fraudulant, but it never hurts to use a bit of caution.
