    Fraudulent Purchases


    Hello,

    Somehow someone has accessed my account, twice and ive done all security measures to prevent further incidents

    But the person/persons have spend hundreds on Neverwinter Zen, And i was wondering if it is atall possible to get refunded the money

    as it wasnt me who made the purchases

    Any information would be appreciated

    I was hacked on 11/23/2012 I lost 3250 points, someone bought FIFA points with my account and I called support and they did an investigation and emailed me the next day basically saying that I was lying and had purchased the FIFA myself, but I do not even
    own the game. so I'm out 30$

    I noticed a few months ago that my Microsoft Points balance was much lower than I thought I had, Not using Xbox Live often I figured I just downloaded something that cost and didn't notice. But when I went to sign in to my xbox account on my PC today ( First
    time I have done it in close to a year ) It said that I was locked out, because of spamming, I followed the guide and got access to my account again, and noticed that an unfamiliar email was linked to my account, I removed them and reset my password and security
    question ( which was showing up in an Asian Font ) I then decided to check to see if there were any purchases, Last December ( yes thats 6 months ago ) It said I bought 4 "PREMIUM GOLD JUMBO", for 240

    each.
    I Have no clue what these are and didn't know if there was any thing that can be done.

    Do you share your account with anyone?, if not its best to call support and tell them to open an unauthorised access investigation on your account.

    well two things first

    Dont use the same email and password for every site

    1st you can still call support you will have to match the exact info from when you created the account

    they will still return the account if you can prove you are the owner

    2nd read this and follow it to the letter



    passwords should not be small caps only

    it should more be like h3ll0W0r1dtryt0f1NdM3



    the yahoo breakin proved people still use 12345678 on passwords thats a very very bad idea

    Same thing happened to me. Today I have checked my Microsoft points balance and I have found out I only have 80 left out of more than 4,000. I am from Romania and when I bought my console I had to create an account using details from UK, such as ZIP code
    an other things so I guess I won't be able to call for support. I had to do so back then because there was no option for my country available to choose from in the dropdown list of countries... I guess my points are lost for good. Anyway, I don't think I'll
    buy more points ever.

    With the above, make sure you give the agent the correct details of your address, name, email, phone number as if you give anything wrong the case will be on hold and you will be forced to wait even longer to get your account back and your Microsoft Points.
