    Fraudulent charges on visa and no help from Microsoft


    Fraudulent charges are against my visa card amounting to $622.05 in total since 6 January 2022. These are charged four times per month at $15.95 per charge. Appear on my bank statement as ‘Microsoft*Subscripti Msbill.In’ and ‘Microsoft*Ultimate 1 Msbill.In’. I have confirmed the following:

    No order confirmation emails from Microsoft or Xbox including in junk

    No order history or subscriptions in my Microsoft account

    No payment method registered in my Microsoft account

    No family with orders or subscriptions with Microsoft account

    Checked friend’s son’s charge history and payment method on his Xbox account

    I have cancelled my visa card with the bank and lodged a fraud enquiry with my bank

    This is fraud and I request a refund from Microsoft for $622.05. I do not know about these charges to my visa card and I have not received any service for these charges.

    Your automated bot doesn't provide any service. Your call back form won't recognize receive my phone number as there is quote "something wrong" and I am to "try again later". What a joke...You call this service??

    If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

    Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

    My account has not been hacked and I don’t have an Xbox account.

    Yes, I’ve tried as mentioned in my enquiry the bot doesn’t understand my question and the call back service isn’t working! These are the only options for me to talk to anyone.

    You can try to contact Xbox support via chat to see if you can at least recover your account.

    To get you fraudulent charges reversed, please contact your bank or financial institution and report the fraudulent charges. This is the process for all fraudulent charges on your account. It is no different with Microsoft charges than it would be if you
    saw charges from McDonald's you didn't make. It would be advisable and your financial institution will probably do it any way but your cards will be replaced to prevent unauthorized charges going forward. This is the standard process. This is why it is important
    to monitor your statements and report any unauthorized transactions to your financial institution. This really shouldn't be new information.
