Call the police? What exactly will that accomplish?

Just file a complaint or contact a XBL rep by phone/email. Never give out personal information to anyone, especially random individuals offering false incentives online.

 

It doesn't matter what someone has done, the naming and shaming policy applies to protect all individuals. Just because someone posts in a forum that someone has done something doesn't make it true. Policy Enforcement doesn't take anybody here at their
word, regardless of how pure their intentions. They also don't accept any proof anyone might have collected. YouTube videos, screen shots, message transcripts... doesn't matter if you have a notarized affidavit from the guilty party themselves, admitting
to the infraction. You can ONLY get the Policy & Enforcement Team on the case to investigate matters by reporting them through the console. Regardless of what any Customer Support Agent or Chat Ambassador or "friend who did it this way once" may tell you.
