    Why is it that Xbox Live only gives you four options on who ordered something and none of them is “unknown” user. There are four options like Xbox Live is pretending that fraud doesnt exist on its platform? Every year this ends up happening at least once and because the scammer used the “gift” rightaway they say Sorry, nothing we can do. Of and the virtual help does essentially the same thing too. Nice giving users the run around.

    Other than use MS Authenticator (added at 4am this morning, hoping it will help, since Xbox live wont help. Btw XBL, my family doesnt buy things for people in eastern Europe!)

    SO you have 2 options....one go to XBox and request a refund since you were not aware of the charges. If XBox does not want you to get a refund you need to contact your credit card company and file it as fraud. Only 2 options to get money back sorry. If
    its fraud grandson might lose his account behind it. Account could be banned due to fraud.

    An unauthorized purchase does not qualify for a refund.

    Just because the option is there doesn't change the issue. An UA purchase is fraud and no one refunds for fraud. That's why you contact your credit card company and have them dispute the charge.

    Microsoft will refund purchases if they determine it was an unauthorized purchase. I had one many years ago and got it refunded.
