Framerate on various original Xbox games

As an Xbox aficionado, yes, some games do perform better than others, as you have mentioned. As the dev team for Scarlett is working on bringing the majority of Xbox One games to the new console, the older #backcompat titles won't be looked into until that
main task is complete.

In time, if the emulation or code allows, older games may see more optimisation updates.

I think yes my friend because its usually related to the staff that is responsible for the development of the game and well that entails the money of the developers to pay more employees

Hi, yeah as you stated some games run better than other... typically first party games are optimized better, for example Halo 5 run on the standard xbox at 1080p at 60fps, other games are less optimazed or "heavier" and run only at lower resolution and lower
frame rates.

Regarding old gen xbox ported on the xbox 360 the situation is the same, it depends from how the game was designed and how it is emulated on the xbox 360.

Now these games are old and since the xbox team now is working on the retrocompatibility for the next xbox scarlett I think that there will not be further updates for original xbox games retrocompatibility on the xbox 360.

They are being emulated via software, and depending how optimized the game is, performance will vary title to title. This is why Microsoft has a

compatibility list. If you aren't able to play a certain title that is listed on the list, be sure to have the latest update installed.

But I get what you're saying, even on Xbox One X, Halo Reach doesn't run well because of the limitation by the game engine, but Halo 3 does and runs in 4K. Again, older games run on software emulation so there's always some sort of limitation that just can't
be helped.
