    Framerate capped to 30 fps in Tacoma on GamePass


    I've just started playing Tacoma from Xbox Game Pass on PC and the framerate is capped at 30 fps, no matter what graphics settings I use. Other games from other storefronts are performing as expected. Does anyone know how I can unlock the framerate? I
    should comfortably be able to hit 60 fps with my PC.

    Update: I've just downloaded Ori and the Blind Forest via Game Pass on PC and that is running at 60 fps, so it's not inherently something about the way Game Pass handles games on PC. I also reached out directly to Fullbright (Tacoma's developer) to see if
    they could help but they said there's nothing in the game aside from VSync which would be capping the framerate like that.

    I did read about people having some problems with the Xbox video capture functionality built into Windows 10 which does default to 30 fps when recording video, but settings this to 60 fps and making sure background recording was disabled didn't help.

    At this point I just don't know what else I can try...

    Hi,

    I'm using an 8 GB Radeon RX 580. I know in some cases developers do cap at 30 but I've seen footage on YouTube of this game running on PC at 60 fps so I feel there must be a way around it.

    What graphics card do you use?

    I know you can set a FPS limit in Nvidia Control Pannel this should remove the cap

    That almost seems weirder than having it capped to 30 fps. Glad I'm not the only one having trouble with this I guess!
