Frame rate loss & game freezing

Ok, so I've seen some other people with similar issues, but I just want to post my personal experience with these problems. I have 75 hours into the game. I run into frame rate loss about 2-3 hours into playing and the game has fully frozen 3 times at 10,
11, and 12 hours, respectively. My xbox is kept in a clean, dust free room around 68 degrees, (I live in the south). So I know it's getting proper, clean air. The freezing is accompanied by a loud buzzing from the audio.

Now, I'm no expert and I'm not trying to say I know the issue, but it's doing EXACTLY what my PC did when my GTX670 GPU would overheat. One that I actually had to send in and get replaced, as I know I was taking proper care of it. This would also directly
affect the frame rate, so it seems that the issue is an overheating GPU. In that case I would think it'd be an Xbox problem rather than a Bethesda problem.(?) But again, I know I could be completely wrong. I just wanted to put the information out there so
maybe there can be a fix, because imho it's the best video game ever made. And this issue has got me quick saving a billion times a day haha.

    :)

I'm not getting a full-out freeze where I have to turn my Xbox off, but I am getting freezes where it the screen is completely frozen for a few seconds. I tried clearing my cache, turning theatre recording off, nothing works. It wasn't like this last time
I played which was 2 days ago.

I haven't had this issue. I'm using a Western Digital 4 TB HDD as my main storage. I currently have 2.3 TB free

How many saves do you have? I keep less than 5

When was the last time you hard reset your XB1?

I have similar issues, I do not have as much time invested but I have seen my framerate go down to 0(when you can't move but it's not locked) for about 1-2 seconds in some areas. Other times I see it from ~20-15FPS in high combat zones. (if you played Mafia
II you know the feel) I have experienced a lot of game crashes or freezing. Where the R+L+Y trick wouldn't even work, I had to go home and quit the game and reload my game. I now save my game often.

I have even tried off my 3.0 eHDDs to see if this would eliminate the issue. It doesn't matter how you save or play your game from my experience. Both have different levels of used space, so that rules out the almost out of space being an issue. Which is
a little upsetting as Pete Hines said: "solid 30 FPS. I play it all the time. I think you'll be pleased." via Twitter.

I enjoy the game, but anyone who says they are getting a solid 30FPS on Fallout 4 right now are not aware of how to determine or know what frame per second are. If I cared enough to I would just have my Xbox record the game play to the crash or capture the
    FPS dip.

That said... now to horses mouth Bethesda Game Studio of which multiple members of the staff here have experienced hard locks of the game, along with in-game bugs like getting stuck in geometry.

Now Bethesda is working on patching a few things, and will do so the way it normally does. They will first release a beta version of an update for the Windows PC version of the game, followed by a final release on PC, and then it will bring that patch to
    PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

TL;DR: You're not the only person having issues. Bethesda is aware and working on solutions, but PC first.

This game on One cannot maintain a steady 30 fps, it'll drop all the way to 25 in the most intense parts. This has been proven by the YouTube channel that does these console fps comparisons. Anything below that, though, and I think there's either something
wrong with your console or there's something going on in the background (do you have apps open, perhaps? Big downloads? Anything at all?). The game will drop to 0 for less than a second while loading a new area (something the PS4 version doesn't do, seems
like PS4 is now getting the superior Bethesda games...). I guess occassional choppiness can occur as it seems like every game ver does that at some point, but it should be just that, occasional, something that won't really change your experience. I don't know,
the game's running a smooth as it should on my console. i know I've seen worse (looking at you, Dark Souls).
