Obsessive Power: clearly this is NOT an isolated issue. just look all over the forums, people are having problems left and right. and coincidentally it all started with this latest batch of updates? hmm suspicious. if doing every troubleshooting step
down to a full factory reset and even sending it in for repairs leave people still experiencing problem, how could it not be software related? brand new hardware doesn't just mysteriously stop working for no reason. and how come the official staff has yet
to step in and comment on this? they just want the ambassadors to keep everyone busy while the techs scramble to push out more updates. not that people with bricked consoles would be able to download them...

  3. A few posts on reddit and a few here on Xbox forums, do not constitute a huge update problem. Even if there 100 reports of the error. There are millions of Xbox One users who have no issues at all.

That being said, I have a had a couple of issues, yesterday. the My Games and Apps section getting stuck once or twice, had to quit out and go back in again. And the FIFA 10 trial getting stuck on a loading screen. But I have had no performance issues,
    crashes or freezes.

    Frame Rate Issues

    Hey all.

Sorry to hear you're still experiencing issues with framerate on your console. The forums team active schedule is below in my signature, thanks a ton for your patience. The info Obsessive Power has provided in regards to how power strips may affect your
console's performance is correct. We ask to give that a check, so that we can narrow down your issue.

Has anyone tested playing while disconnected from Xbox Live as well? On top of that, please give a re-install of a game that you're experiencing frame rate issues with. Thanks a ton for your patience, any information you give us helps us further look into
    this.

  5. @Mister Maka : I probably won't be able to test anything offline, as I have nothing to play offline. Everything I do play pretty much requires an online connection, and as the Xbox One was initially designed as an "always online" console, and how it relies
on "cloud processing", I don't have a whole lot of options available to me.

Speaking of the re-installation idea, I did move my installation of a few games from my External HDD to my Internal HDD. Rather than simply moving the game though, the actual move process appears to create a duplicate (copy) and then delete the original.
Whether that's essentially the same process as actually fully deleting something and re-installing it from scratch is a question I don't know the answer to, but I have tried the move and noticed no difference at all.

Running off the Internal or External HDDs appears to change nothing.

If you ask me, it appears to be a processing issue, and therefore, potentially a cloud processing issue. My Xbox One has to chug and whir like crazy whenever any notable lag spike in the OS occurs, meaning it has to perform some additional processing. Most
of this becomes VERY pronounced when I'm repeatedly using the on-screen keyboard to type messages (such as in Warframe's chat rooms).

Also, whenever I play online with other people, my console starts to struggle and the framerate becomes choppy. Even just 1 friend can, and will, cause this effect. As they were the host, I had it worse, but even they admitted that their console ran slowly
(though they had no opportunity to play until yesterday, and so hadn't noticed it until then).

Point being, whenever the console is having to perform a lot of processing, especially multiple processes, that is when it struggles.

I can 100% assure you that this is not an issue on my end with my ISP or internet connection as I have checked it dozens of times over the last week. Something happened with the forced update last Monday (allegedly the September 15th update). That is when
    these problems started for me.

I hope this helps you narrow down the cause.

  6. I'm also having the same problem. Just started. I thought it was only Madden 17 at first but now Rainbow Six Siege is stuttering. I thought maybe my Xbox was breaking. What do we do?

I wanted to clarify one thing, the laggano games even if the console is disconnected from the network, so the problem is the last update and not internet line, if you could go back to the previous update everything is resolved, so Microsoft have combined
    a mess this time.

    Hey again Ephidel and Th3WizardofTaco!

To check, are you currently in the Xbox One Update Preview? If you just recently received an update it would imply to me that you are. If so, let's get you over to the
Xbox One Preview Forums and let the Preview team know what's going on. They'll be able to best help out and if this is a known issue, they may have additional information or troubleshooting.

  9. Same issues here.

Using an Xbox One from 2014, games that are noticeably affected- Grand Theft Auto V (And GTA Online), Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, Fallout 4(though could be the natural frame rate loss the game always has) and Minecraft.

It happens even in GTA V's singleplayer, it might actually be even worse there. I haven't really played many other games, but I imagine they're messed up too.

I am glad to see that so many people have this issue which means that it's not an isolated incident.

    Please fix this issue, Xbox.

    Take care now,
