    Frame rate issues...


    I bought my Xbox one back in September from Walmart It was when they had the buy a system get a free game but that's not why I'm here. Recently I've been having issues with my system. I own 4 games Destiny, Halo, WWE 2k15 and GTA 5.

    halo issues: won't load any missions, system just sits there

    wwe 2k15: frame rate slows down, making it impossible to finish matches or do anything. Seems like it's constantly trying to catch up with itself

    destiny: sound cuts in and out, some times the sound is out for 30-45 seconds. Not a big deal just annoying.

    now with GTA....

    i played GTA on the 360, had no issues what so ever. from the day I got GTA 5 for the Xbox one I've had nothing but issues the game is constantly loading, the trees, buildings, cars, people etc. This is mid game while driving around I'm having to deal with
    this nonsense. If I could post a picture here i would but i cant figure out how to do so.

    Frame Rate Issues

    I wonder if some discs just randomly have frame rate issues? I have the new Xbox 360 and the game installed to the hard drive, and I have frame rate issues 24/7, even when I'm just walking around in the world not doing anything. It's really ruining the
    experience for me and I was really looking forward to this game :/

    Frame rate issues...

    Have you tried a hard restart? To perform a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on. The system will turn off. When you hit the button again, it will start and display the green start-up screen. All your data is preserved,
    but cache is cleared and some settings are reverted and log-in or game start issues are resolved.

    I'm not trying to be rude, but that seems to be the only response I've seen to everyones problems here. Is do a hard restart....Yes I have, and the issue hasn't gotten better, it's actually gotten worse.

    The reason for that is because it does fix most issues and if someone didn't specifically say that they've already tried it in their opening post, it's the first thing that should be recommended.

    I would call Xbox Support on this one, as there's not much else that can be recommended for this issue. It's possibly hardware related.

    @Sly Jon: No, man. It's not just that I'm giving the game a pass because I'm used to it. The frame rate is consistent, and very playable. It seems to be around 30 fps most of the time. It dips severely during cutscenes, and also sometimes when there's
    a lot happening. But the thing is, it doesn't stutter. Motion remains predictable and feels fluid even when the fps dips. Do you get me? What makes a game unplayable is repeated momentary freezing, aka hitching. That happens when the fps drops to near
    zero, then bounces back over and over--which is a problem with many games, but NOT this one, at least not for me.

    @Sly Jon, it's just frustrating though that through all the research I've done online, it seems like just by chance, many people's games are completely fine, while others randomly get a laggy game. No one seems to know why :/

    Oh and @Ramon284, Halo 4 also runs at 30 FPS, and that never bugged me. I think I just have a buggy disc :/

    I have the slim black Xbox 360 with the 250 gig hard drive. Is that the one you have? And I have mine installed to the hard drive.
