    Frame Rate Issues


    Anyone else getting fame rate issues?

    If you need an example of it, just watch my most recent saved clip. You can see the issue at 2 separate times. First it happens at the part with all the beetles. Right before I jump up to parry the pink beetle. Then later as I'm in the tree enemy section
    you can see it drop frames, eat my inputs, and I just walk off the platform.

    I've been trying to get the goal time on this level for hours and its next to impossible because the faster I go the more frequent the frame drops occur.

    I've had so many good runs end in very similar ways. It pretty much ruins the game.

    I wonder if some discs just randomly have frame rate issues? I have the new Xbox 360 and the game installed to the hard drive, and I have frame rate issues 24/7, even when I'm just walking around in the world not doing anything. It's really ruining the
    experience for me and I was really looking forward to this game :/

    You can ignore this post. I turned my Xbox off and and back on and it seems to have fixed the issue, luckily.

    @Sly Jon: No, man. It's not just that I'm giving the game a pass because I'm used to it. The frame rate is consistent, and very playable. It seems to be around 30 fps most of the time. It dips severely during cutscenes, and also sometimes when there's
    a lot happening. But the thing is, it doesn't stutter. Motion remains predictable and feels fluid even when the fps dips. Do you get me? What makes a game unplayable is repeated momentary freezing, aka hitching. That happens when the fps drops to near
    zero, then bounces back over and over--which is a problem with many games, but NOT this one, at least not for me.

    @Sly Jon, it's just frustrating though that through all the research I've done online, it seems like just by chance, many people's games are completely fine, while others randomly get a laggy game. No one seems to know why :/

    Oh and @Ramon284, Halo 4 also runs at 30 FPS, and that never bugged me. I think I just have a buggy disc :/

    I have the slim black Xbox 360 with the 250 gig hard drive. Is that the one you have? And I have mine installed to the hard drive.
