Frame Rate Freeze and Drops

During story mode Mortal Kombat X the frame rate is inconsistent. Inputting button combos and having the game freeze momentarily to register the animation. This is very annoying. I watched some youtube videos to see if my console was at fault or
this is a known issue.

I have the Day One edition of XBOX ONE and it's possible i got a Lemon. Seems to take my console ever to turn on after pressing the controller button.

Anyway.. just wanted to see if anybody else out there is having similar problems and could answer if this is the GAME developers problem or is it the Console that is having a problem.

I'm running this at 1080p on a 65' LG and i never had problems running other games... except Dragon Age online and Neverwinter Online.

Both of those games LAG bad during heavy renders on screen.

Seems like XBOX ONE is struggling to keep up.

Any helpful info would be appreciated.

I've got an S model and didn't encounter a single freeze. Had a fair amount of frame rate drops, but thats about it.

 

Framerate drops on my games?

Actually frame rate drops are frequent in many games. This morning I was playing L4D2 and the frame rate drops when the horde of infected come running in my tv screen. In Halo Wars the frame rate drops when there are too many units on screen at the same
time. Frame rate drops are a common occurrence on many games, it is not a fault with the games but instead a limitation on the xbox 360 hardware.

yes this happened to me but only when playing online no matter what get you

play there will be a lag from not on your end but that one host or someone else in the made room
