fragile controllers

Is anyone else going through Xbox one controllers as fast as me???

Why are one controllers so fragile?

This is kinda messed up. since i got an xbox one last year ive had to buy three different controllers cuz these controllers are made terribly.and why is there barely any warranty on it? 90 days?

. ive needed to buy 3 controllers on the One that ive had for only a year but on the 360 i used the same controllers for about 5 years..... is it a way to get more money? even an elite controller will break really fast. do you have an answer? or will
you just let people buy your crappy accessories cuz they need it to play? even in your packages though it says a one year warranty. but when ive called youll only do 90 days.... thats messed up. dont sell a product you gotta lie about. these controllers are
very flimsy and terrible and fall apart. minus well go to Sony. least PS controllers last for years

 

You might just be unlikely, I've dropped mine a few times and it still works fine.

Edit. After a year and a half look like my gamertag have updated on the forums. (sorry for going off topic lol)

 

How long have you had Xbox One, and how many controllers have you went through?

 

And what was wrong with it? I usually replace mine about once a year and even then probably don't need to just do it because I notice the buttons sticking at that point but can still play with them

 

The only problem I've experienced since launch is after awhile the controllers feel really squeaky and pushable around the handle seems (if that makes sense.) All three of my controllers have done this and it just makes them feel really cheap. I've found
that squid grip makes it a little better, while giving your hands better grip on the handles.

 

My controllers have the cheap feel because I can squeeze the controller and feel it flex, but still using my day one controller daily and it hasn't broken or shown sighs of wearing, dog keeps pushing it off the cough, but no damage.

That's exactly what I'm talking about, the flex. I really wish they would have used screws. That flex drives me nuts, why I don't know.

 

Mine still works , but I know what you mean .

I get flex ..and an occasional ...pop .. like its going to open up .

I would have thought they could have made better improvements tho , 50 inovations ..but still slippy smooth plastic .

Scuf have nice grips , and paddles underneath , that are programmable , could they not have done something similar ?.

 

They feel cheapish but my day one controller hasn't broke yet. The only game that makes it feel like it's coming apart at the seam is KI. When I play it it literally feels like it's coming apart. Also, I'm not sure if they are all like this but I can see
the green computer board looking thing in the controller where you plug a headset in. I'm guess in you aren't supposed to see it?

 

It is true the controller feels more fragile (but more sleeker) than my Xbox 360 slim consoles' wireless controller. I've had Xbox 1 since Day 1 and it still is void of any food stains scratches and functions just like on Day 1. And I've dropped it and thrown
it gently around my room and it's a completely fine no worn buttons. Have you been playing soccer on hard concrete outside with it? Or using a hammer and knife to do a durability test? I know some people may when trying to do comparison reviews.

 

Got one Squeaky one another with a sticky A button and one that's perfect as I hardly use it. Screws would have been better than the squeaky seams.

 

The black ones I found very fragile but upgraded to some special edition pads feel much stronger

 

My day one still works fine, the only thing wrong with it my d pad is a bit sticky but that's because I split beer on it. But I will say I bought a new controller so I had a spare and it does feel better to play with but I use my day one more often.
