    FPS problems gamming or watching videos


    Hello. I been having a problem. when playing or watching some video (youtube or twitch for example) i feel like its not smooth all the time. It's like fps drop and tearing but my fps are always high. no matter if i play on low settigs, ultra or whatever.

    Even watching videos it feels clunky or chopy.

    I've tried updating my gpus driver, updating my bios, changing settigs in game, changing nvidia settigns, rebooting the OS, and it still happens.



    i got this system.

    i5-10400f

    rtx 3060 ti

    16Gb RAM

    B560M-HDV motherboard

    windows 11

    I followed a lot of steps, i tried many drivers, reinstall OS, reset OS, Upgrade BIOS driver, enable and disable TPM 2.0, tried enabled and disable core isolation.

    ALSO i tried all those steps

    1. Bring up the Windows Search option.(Just press "Windows Logo" button form your keyboard )

    2. Type in "msconfig.exe" (without the quotes) and hit ENTER. This should bring up the System Configuration window.

    3. Click "Selective startup" option.

    4. Uncheck "Load startup items"

    5. Click the "Services" tab (3rd Tab in the top of that Window)

    6. Check the "Hide all Microsoft services" box ( This is the most important step )

    7. Click "Disable all"

    8. Now re-enable only the "NVIDIA" or "GeForce" services. (Skip this if you have none)

    9. You can check other important services also, like your Internet or any service which is required for booting.

    10. Click "OK"

    11. Restart your computer.



    i stress my GPU with a stress test (FurMark) i stress my CPU with (Cpu z) and test my memory RAM with an windows tool everything show there was ok.

    I am really out of ideas this problem didnt happened before.

    30 FPS but the game runs as smooth as butter from all the articles ive read and the videos ive watched thus far......If they did 60 FPS then there would be half the number of zombies if not less on screen which would really suck IMO....soooo 30 FPS is fine

    Hi Mister,

    I don't have any problems with watching videos on Youtube, streamings on Twitch.

    I tried the official Microsoft demo in 4K called "Insects" and no FPS drops.

    I just reinstalled Monster Hunter World and now I am fixed : When logging into the game, even in the lobby, FPS drops are constantly present when turning the camera and running. And I hear a weird noise of the fan.

    When I bought this game, I could play with no problems of fluidity.

    If you have not done so you could try the Optional Media Update, I heard it's helped one or two others.
