FPS in games

Discus and support FPS in games in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; My FPS does not go over 40 in any game that I play on my computer. The limit I set in the game doesn't matter.     FPS in games


    My FPS does not go over 40 in any game that I play on my computer. The limit I set in the game doesn't matter. And when I turn off Gamer-Mode it goes down to 30 and does not go over. Usually I have around 100 fps in most of my games. Is there any way to
    get my frames higher?

    Oh and alot of the games that I am going to get for the X1are FPS games..

    You will need to check if your video card drivers are fully up to date, and the settings in your video card software ( not windows settings) are all correct, possibly resting the graphic driver settings to default may resolve the issue.

    Hi,

    We could do with a little more information here.

    What are your machine specs?

    What games are having frame rate issues?

    What display device are you using?

    Have you updated your graphics drivers?

    Have you made any changes you are aware of that has now degraded the performance of your machine when playing games?

    Make sure everything on your Computer is up to date, especially your Graphics Card. There may be an optimisation setting in your Graphics Card Settings.

    it is working now, if the game bar is glitching like this going to settings-app settings and pressing on advanced settings on all of the xbox apps then pressing reset on them, then after that you have to restart the pc and it worked, Harry P told me this
    and my fps stays the same now when I press win+g,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is quite the drop in frames. Does this happen on any other game? Do you mind letting us know your hardware specifications? Also, make sure your computer and video card drivers are fully up to date.
