FPS gamers, what is the average life span of your analog sticks?

I've never had to replace the sticks on a controller, ever and I believe games like Ninja Gaiden where you utilise a lot of spinning 360 attacks that require a fast 360 rotation of the stick to be much worse then any FPS.

I think people will use a lot more pressure then is required when in tense gaming moments, I've really started to control that and will pick up on if I'm squeezing the controller to death or pushing the sticks too hard.

I have actually started to notice a little wear on the grip around the sticks on the X1 controller which seems to wear much slower then the raised bumps on the 360 controller.

 

My XB1 controller has been going on strong (although I hardly play FPSes in there). Back in my heavy FPS days on 360, I went through three 360 controllers - I'd estimate a year and a half, at most two, before I started seeing problems.

 

My day 1 controller needed to be replaced about 2 months ago. It's the only controller I've ever needed to replace.

 

My controllers last about 12 months, both on the 360 and now the One. I play FPS a lot. I find the Xbox One controllers much more accurate and responsive but they feel flimsier. I'd prefer a little bit more resistance in the analog sticks, and more weight
to the controller.

 

Bought several Xbox 360 controller (after a while all got a "dead zone problem",character/camera moving by itself).

So far,only got one Xbox one controller.
