FPS drop, jerky gameplay every few seconds.XBOX ONE

The frame drops now happen to me in attack on titan (and my copy is a disc and not digital) whenever I go to kill a titan I get a massive frame skip/drop when killing it after playing the game for an hour or two. Going offline or doing a full reboot of my
router seems to be a temporary fix and have done everything that has been asked of me.

It seems more and more to me that this is certainly an issue with the latest update. Since I have been playing this game mostly by myself not in a party chat or using any headsets and the kinect is not plugged in. Maybe this latest update causes some kind
of issue with some users routers/modems? My router and modem are fairly old (about six or seven years) but I've never had a problem with them before. I'm curious if upgrading to a more recent router/modem (maybe a duel band router even) would fix any of my
woes.

 

I appreciate your assistance and thank you for the update. I also wanted to add just a bit more information, for what it's worth. It seems that these issues might be contagious, because I have noticed recently that some other games seem to be starting
to have noticeable stuttering issues once in a while. I realize that because most of the current games are connected to a remote server, there will be the occasional lag or stutter for a second or two, every once in a while. However, I have noticed in the
last day or two that Destiny and The Division both are experiencing increased issues. Fortunately the lag is very infrequent and only for a second or two. No where near the issues that I experience consistently with Warframe, which render it unplayable.
I'm hoping that the issues with the other games are unrelated, but thought I would let you know.

So, still no update?

I'm guessing they know that the HDR patch overburdened the console, even on the original Xbox Ones where it's basically junk data. I've noticed a slight decrease in the severity of the issue that seems to be due to increased Cloud processing in order to
supplement the awful tech they have. Seriously, you need to do some extreme reworking of the HDR update from September, because it's barely holding together and my Xbox One is chugging away pretty frequently, at set intervals, to compensate.

Be glad the majority of casuals still haven't noticed, because they simply don't play long enough for it to manifest itself. Maybe if they did notice it, we would have some progress by now.

 

I thought that I would update this thread with the latest information. It seems that a potential work around for the extreme stuttering issue I was experiencing in Warframe has been found. After disabling the in game chat feature in the audio settings
of the game, the stuttering has almost completely gone away. I'm still seeing lag here and there, but not even close to as bad as it was. Playing on 4 man squads using Xbox chat, I am rarely experiencing an issue. I was recently playing with friends who
were having the stuttering/lag issue, so I told them to turn off their in game chat, but it didn't seem to fix anything. However, to be fair, this was yesterday when everyone started having issues and Xbox Live Services went down for some people. I disabled
the in game voice, turned off the auto gain outbound, and turned the volume all the way down (off) as well. I live in Los Angeles, California, and have my settings for region set to western or whatever the setting option is. I don't think the region is a
contributor to the issues since I regularly play with friends from Germany, Japan, and Korea, and I don't experience any more or less issues. All of the other issues still exist, but this "fix" (work around) has almost eliminated the worst issue of them all
for me, the stuttering. I have also noticed that the internal fan on my console has been making more noise lately, and the heat being generated from the console is noticeable and significant. More so than I recall in the last year. Which is not a good sign.
I have attempted to vacuum the dust from the sides and top of my console as best I can hoping that will help with the heat issue. Hopefully these additional details are helpful.

Move to solve this problem, from September 23 I turned off the Xbox One for this problem, christ you are shameful !!!

 

Yeah, my Xbox One's power brick has been making extra noise recently along with the main console.

As for Warframe, it is far from the only game affected afaik. It happens to all games the longer the console is on, and my friend had an update last week which he said broke his Turtle Beach headsets, but I haven't had an update since the 8th (?) October.

I swear they're trying to bury this issue, which is common practice these days. The whole industry needs to lose a few billion dollars and put a lot of people out of business. Maybe then they'd produce a better quality service.

I'll check back every week or so, but I guarantee they don't give a rat's rear end anymore.

 

It also seems like the fan on my Xbox One S has gotten louder from all of this update business as well. I'm playing Infinite in the Bioshock collection and it has stuttering all over the place, like the game fights to maintain a solid 60. I notice weird
abrupt stutter pauses in the Division (but that could be due to the recent 1.4 update) and the usual suspects as reported last time are still having said issues. It's worrying that it's been two weeks since anyone has replied to us.

I understand fixing this issue is not as simple simple as flicking a switch (and a rollback could cause other unforeseen issues) but the long stretches of silence gives me cause for concern. It feels like we are being "droned out" in hopes that maybe we'll
go away and give up. It seems to be a popular tactic. There is an issue for a small set of users with the Xbox One versions of Resident Evil Revelations 2, RE5, and RE6 that the game just crashes when trying to create a co-op game (it's happens to me in 5
and Rev 2) and Capcom just ignored the issue entirely. I hope Microsoft doesn't try to do the same.
