    FPS disconnecting me in-game, and reconnecting back instantly with no explanation


    This problem started about 3 weeks ago, I was playing an FPS game (overwatch) and a disconnecting symbol popped up in the corner, I was kicked out and was instantly able to rejoin. Sometimes it does it every 10 minutes, every 2 minutes, every hour, you get it, it happens randomly which is very annoying. I have seen a post related to this but apparently they haven’t found a solution. Could it be the Xbox itself?

    Is this happening only with overwatch? (Or please test with another game to see how it goes)

    May I know if you can also test a different wifi network to see how it goes?

    For example sharing mobile data via wifi network and connect your console in that way.

    If. you're not able to try that, please tell me which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this.

    In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    Sorry to hear about the connection troubles. Let's see if we can get this figured out.

    Let's start by attempting to isolate the issue. To do this, are you able to bypass your router, and plug your console directly into your modem? This will let us know if the router is the culprit.

    Also, if you could go ahead and test your connection speed at speedtest.net, and post back with the results, that would be awesome.

    Let us know how that all goes, and we can go from there.

    For the last year or two my xbox has been disconnecting every one to two hours

    (sometimes if i just wait, it will actually reconnect me by itself) especially if i go to the dashboard after im playing a game and i get disconnected, it will sometimes reconnect as soon as i get back to the dashboard

    When I put a game in it disconnects me from live and during the main menu of the game I try to reconnect and it wont let me and when i go back to the xbox dashboard xbox live is conncted
