FPS boost very blurry/not working

I’m on Xbox series X and FPS boost is very blurry/choppy. The games feel like they’re played at 50-60fps not even close to 120fps. It worked fine the first time I connected it to my LG C1 everything was perfect it was 120 fps very smooth, but after some time this issue happened. And no it’s not the tv because it works perfectly on the PS5 that I recently bought. I get 120fps on my ps5 very nice and smooth. I have also tried different Tv Sony a80j which is another Oled 120hz high end tv.

My question is why is this not fixed already?

Yes, we have the choice to turn off auto HDR and FPS boost. But if we want FPS Boost and 4K for Fallout 4, this isn't possible unless we exploit a glitch that will inevitably be patched in the very near future.

I'm suggesting enabling/disabling FPS Boost for these titles should not also enable/disable 4K (one x enhancements). It should be an additional setting that we can toggle to get the experience we want!

As I understand it, the FPS boost work was completed by the same team that worked on the now defunct backwards compatibility program. No BC team, no FPS boost.

It's now up to original game developers to patch or otherwise re-release their games with faster frame rates.

Hi there. I tried using this same method & it's not working for me either. I uninstalled & reinstalled the game on my Series S & still the FPS Boost option is not available. Are you sure this is what you have to do? Nothing I've done has worked so far.

There won't be an FPS boost option as this update was from the developer, not Microsoft. The update increased the FPS in-game.

According to Microsoft "As our backward compatibility catalogue grows, so do the number of ways you can enhance the visual quality of your past-gen games on your Xbox Series X|S console."

As of the moment we just need to wait for further updates because there is no guarantee yet if the game will have the feature along with if the game will be optimized for Xbox Series X|S consoles. I have to make sure to validate on the official site which is https://news.xbox.com and majornelson.com and no news yet for the game.
