Found a new mob??

so recently I decided to start up a new world on minecraft and turned on my mass effect texture pack.

First creature I saw was this grayish blue creature with a round head and blue patches. It looked similar to a creature of saw while playing mass effect. I figured it was a cow and so I proceeded to kill it for some beef.

It made on odd noise I hadn't heard before and dropped two raw salmons...

I realized there was no way that what I had just killed was not a cow. Nor was it anything I have encountered before. And I have not seen one since.

I soon found an actual cow, which had brown coloring.

It would look different with the regular texture pack, but has anyone else found a rare land creature that drops salmon?

Hey Mewbitz, it was probably just a polar bear, usually found in the snowy biomes.

 

That must be it! I was next to a snowy biome. I didn't know minecraft had polar bears.

Thanks for clearing up this mystery. I've been trying to find the creature in all the wrong places haha.
