Forza Motorsport 6 Cover Car Achievement Not Unlocking

Played the demo, got the message that the 2017 Ford GT would be delivered to my garage in the retail version. Launched the Ultimate Edition on the 10th, it's in my garage and I even took it for a spin in Free Play but the Cover Car achievement hasn't unlocked
yet. Any ideas?

Forza Motorsport 6 achievements not unlocking

i have completed the steps to unlock "car culture: drive all Ferrari vehicles in a race", completed this 3 times its still locked at 96%, and on 12/17 I unlocked " thru the pack: come in 1st when starting in 24th place". Has anyone had issues with these
two achievements? If so, is there anyway to fix this or make these achievement pop? It took me over 15 attempts over 2 weeks to get "record breaker: go faster than 250 mph in any car" to unlock. I'm an average racer but I'll probably never unlock the "thru
the pack" to unlock again, let alone unlocking this multiple times to get it registered. I have rebooted, cleared cache, uninstalled game, uninstalled profile, resynced game, wired connection, check my achievements online account, waited 48 hour, etc, etc,
I have both the physical game and digital. However, I use the digital mostly accept for on 12/17 I had to use physical the physical copy as my digital copy wasn't being registered I owned it and error message said i had to be online, which I already was. Used
the physical copy had no issues playing online. Just not of my achievements were registering. Any assistance would be great, thanks

 

You have to purchase the car in game. The gift car won't unlock it.

 

Ya, Turn 10 put out an in-game message as well. They need to update the achievement description as it simply says "Own the Cover Car" - ran across a lot of other confused gamers as to why it wasn't unlocking as well.

 

Anyone know about those of us that bought the special edition console? I couldn't play the demo until after I already had the game. Any idea if I can go back and do this retroactively?

 

To get the car or the achievement? You have to buy the car for the achievements, so either way you would get the car.

 

But do I have to play the demo to get the car? I have the full game, car pass and VIP.

 

No. The car is available in the game. You just got it free if you played the demo.
