Forza loads then crashes

Ive had forza horizon 4 ultumate edition since it came out and ive never had a problem with it untill 4/5 months ago.

the game will load up to the main screen load uo the home let me go out into the actual map and let me drive for like 5 minuets but then trhe gane will crash randomly and not even give me an error code and ive tried this on my disk version and also digitalily

i use a first gen xbox 1 and so do most of my friends and the can play the game fine with out an issue where as i have bought an external hdd to try and play the game and it STILL doesnt work

Thank you for coming to the Forum to get support with your Forza Horizon 4 issue. Have you looked to see if it needs an update or have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.

I have had this happen with many games and sometimes it is as simple as a hard reset or just jumping into another game and then reloading the game I was wanting to play and that has refreshed it.

I have a problem with forza 5 I have downloaded the game on my windows and when I press to play it loads for a few seconds then crashes

Seems to have done the trick. My games including Forza 5 all load and allow me to play without any freezing/crashing to the home screen. Thanks Microsoft team.

I Have The Same Problem.

Some games (FH4, Forza 7, Ride 4) crash on the load screen.

Dragonball Z Kakarot and Medal of Honor work well.

Is it a Software Problem?
