    Forza is stuck in limbo, can't download


    I was downloading/installing Forza Horizon 5 yesterday but I had to shut down my computer so I paused the download on GamePass and turned the computer off.

    Today I couldn't just continue so I went to download the game and start over but it won't start. I click on install, then it's prepping, sitting at 0%, before disappearing like I never installed it. So I can't get the game.

    It's probably because I paused it but I have no idea what to do. Is there a cache or temp folder somewhere I need to empty?

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Given the problem you are having, I suggest you try the procedure below.

    1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.

    2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.

    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.

    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.

    - If that works, the download will probably pick up where it left off.

    Im having a similar issue however, the download doesnt start at all. I click ' install ' and it gives me a pop-up saying that ' something has happened at our end ' i have been trying to find ways to fix this for the past 2 days yet nothing has worked.
