Forza is downloaded but not installed

Recently did a soft reset on my laptop, this mean all of my games uninstalled but stayed downloaded. With my steam games, all it took was steam to verify the files for my games and that was that, but microsoft doesn't have this feature. I currently have FH4, FH5 and FM7 downloaded but when I go to play them it wants me to install them again, but I can't, as I don't have enough space as they are already downloaded. More annoyingly, because they are only downloaded and not technically installed, I can't uninstall them and I don't have permission to access the file they are installed into to deleted them. Can someone help please?

Try taking ownership of the folder to delete the games:

Press Windows + E and go to the drive where game is installed.

Enter to XboxGames folder (or the WindowsApp) and right click on it and select properties > Go to the Security tab and select Advanced:

Click on Continue in the Permissions tab > Select Change > Click Advanced in the Select User or Group window, then Find now:

Select your user account and click on Ok > Click on Ok and Apply on every window and close them.

Is the game installed? Backup your save to a USB stick, delete all Forza 3 data on the HDD, clear your hard drive cache, install Forza 3 disc 1 only, play game and download updates, when prompted at the Forza 3 menu install disc 2, then move your save data
back to your Xbox.

Hi, it could be that that part of the game is installed on a bad sector of your hard drive. What you need to do is delete Forza Horizon, then download some demos to approx the same size of Forza Horizon. Once they have downloaded, then redownload Forza
Horizon. That way the Forza is on a different part of the Hard Drive, and hopefully your problem will be fixed.

i just bought forza 7 earlier and haven't been able to download and install the game. The DLCs installed fine. Another game was downloaded and installed fine. Forza 7 is saying it can't access Xbox live. It keeps saying that i'm not connected but I am. Even
now that xbox live services are back up according to xbox.com/status, i still can't get forza 7 to install. Tried resetting. Tried deleting local cache and reinstalling.

So, the problem is on their end. They said they would txt me once it gets fixed, but then they just texted me a little while ago to say xbox live was back up but i still can't install Forza 7.

With my current wireless setup, I only get about 6mbps, and it doesn't take me that long to download and install a game at all. A full download and install of Forza 5 seemed pretty quick to me.
