Forza Horizon splash screen crash

This is ridiculous. I bought this game almost a year ago. Never worked. I open it, it shows me the splash screen for around 5-10 seconds, then it crashes to the desktop. I spent 67€ for this POS game that didn't work one single minute since I paid for it.
I contacted windows service over the phone, who provided me with an eternal list of questionable fixes. None of them worked.

At this point I just want my money back. This is really ridiculous.

Could someone please help me to fix my forza horizon 3 crash on xbox!

Hi

Just after I updated my forza horizon 3 to the latest update (as of the 7th of june) and also updated the system software to the latest update, the game started to crash on the splash screen

(the picture of the game) ! The weird thing is that all my other games work fine! I have a digital copy of forza horizon 3 standard edition. The game uaed to work fine before the update.

Hi, Forza won't start, stop at splash screen, I downloaded the game 3 times, reinstalled in a clean hd, created new user with Microsoft account, I started only with Windows services active, I turned off microphone, what i can do
now? Please Help.

you cannot get your money back for a game that you purchased over a year ago this issue should have been taken up in the beginning when you first purchase the game and it was not working

To anyone who still has this issue, try the below 2 methods -

When you see the second splash screen (small one) -

1. Click on the forza horizon 5 shortcut multiple times.

OR

2. Alt+Tab and make sure the splash screen is selected

Try this:

Log out of your account on the app, reinstall it, restart your PC, and then log back in and try again.

If this doesn't work:

First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

I'm having the same issue. However, mine says Hang Type: Quiesce.

I have the ultimate edition too.
