Forza horizon server

hi all the game looks great on the Xbox one - good job!

the server is terrible and since I only have a few achievements left was playing towards getting those done..... Multiplayer sometimes works, 1000 club cannot upload medals ( so no progress there ) CR not registering from rewards & from wins.

On the server issues - it seems like when the server is not working the game is dropping performance to around 5fps. This can be made to work right again if you completely shut down the game and restart it..... I hope you guys get it fixed cause I want to
buy forza horizon 3 but wanted to complete these achievements first.

Forza Horizon server problem

When are the Forza Horizon servers going to be working properly? I have had this game since Tuesday, and not once have I been able to access any online content in the game. All I ever get is the message, "Feature Unavailable:
The Forza Horizon server is not available at this time. Please try again later."

I am not able to access anything at all in the game.

When is this elusive "later"? Why have I been tricked into paying full price for only half a game?

Before anyone asks. Yes, my network connection is fine. Yes, I can connect to Live in other games. The problem is I can not connect to this game.

forza horizon is hands down a bad game. in horizon sure they are running a new server but they completely lost the point and physics of the forza franchise. if you want a freeroam game buy need for speed or test drive. i just think forza horizon was a waste
of money by the forza company. at least they are making forza 5 for the 360 and one

 

In the same boat. I was going to pick up some straggling achievements before FH3 hits, but the servers aren't registering most of them. Frustrating, but perhaps not unexpected.

This is where MS could've been smarter, by making it BC last month and GWG this month. Sigh. Oh Microsoft, you're always so close to good. Just *thiiiis* close.

 

Same issue on the 360 as well, says "forza servers are down/unavailable". It's probably because since it became a GWG game, and had a huge increase in players then crashed the servers. The servers were up on the 1st in the morning, but in the afternoon the
servers went down. About the only thing I can say is to wait a couple days then play and see if people quit trying to play and overload the servers. Unless Microsoft moves a couple servers over to this game to account for the player increase and reboot the
servers, which they probably wont.

 

game framerate issues arent 100% to do with the server issues.

ive tried playing the game offline and it still has framerate problems at playing for 30minutes+

servers are also down for me all the time, so i cant get any dlc from message center.

this re-release on BC and free monthly game is a clusterf tbh..

Whoever thought that you should have to be connected to XBL to play a SINGLE PLAYER DLC is too stupid to be working in the video game industry. Absolutely absurd that after nearly a week I can't even start it.

Microsoft, you need to fix this or give me my money back.

 

Hello the Xbox support team is currently looking to the Forza Horizon servers. They are aware of the problem so please be patient. You can try clearing your cache on your xbox to see if that will help. It dose seem to be a server problem with the game from
what i can tell but it hopefully be fixed soon. i hope this has helped.

 

Well, hopefully they can get it working. We just bought the game and we have no server functionality on PC or Xbox One.

 

problem still happening in 2018, maybe bill gates should have spent less time wandering the halls of corporate accounting gazing off into the distance and more time at the server farms anglicizing traffic.
