    Forza Horizon Save File dosent Load on New Laptop.


    So basically i have the game on steam and i recently shifted to a different laptop, when i downloaded the game and launched it the game dosent seem to load for some reason in short it just loads for a few seconds, shows my stats and then turns into a black screen and proceeds to crash. After awhile i logged in to a new Xbox account through the game and everything seemed to be working fine.

    Things I Tried
    - Tried redownloading forza 4 times.
    - Checked all the driver updates and everything seems to be fine.
    - Launched the game through GeForce Experience and nothing seems to change.
    - Tried using a different Xbox account on the same laptop and it seems to work.
    - Tried the game on the old laptop, seems to be working fine. So its probably a problem with the save file.

    When i copy paste the above command onto my run, it takes me to the folder and when i sort it to most recent i see a file which is numbered 154186200
    and the only files in it are "7" "config" "ugc"

    Maybe its because i installed the game on my D drive?

    I just checked it and i had tried all the above steps before and it still dosent seem to work.

    Try copying the progress file from your old laptop to your new laptop and see if it works.

    Steam Save File Location

    Press Win+R key combination

    Type in the following line: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\

    Press OK to confirm

    Sort the folder view by "Date Modifed"

    Open the most recent folder

    There you should find the game's save folder, which is titled "1293830". This is the Forza Horizon 4 application identification number for Steam.
