Forza Horizon Rally Expansion

I bought the Forza Horizon season pass from Deals With Gold this week, and I was successfully (although through a somewhat obnoxious and roundabout process) able to download all of the DLC and access the cars from the car packs, but even though the Horizon
Rally Expansion is installed it won't open. Any news on what's causing this and if there's ever going to be a remedy? Because if there isn't, that was kind of a waste of money.

Yep, it is free for season pass holders, thought it was but wasn't 100% sure!

And yes, $50 for a Season Pass seems absurdly expensive. I *may* wind up springing for just the rally pack, but it would probably be after it's been out for a while and has been discounted.

 

had a similar problem, worked for me after I went to MANAGE GAME on the XB1 and installed all the DLC listed under READY TO INSTALL.

 

I did that before and it still didn't work. However, interestingly enough, for some reason I turned my Xbox on the next day and the little notification popped up that Horizon Rally was installed. I wonder if it was updated or something, because now it
works all of a sudden. Weird, but hey it works now.

This problem has been caused by the Forza horizon for 360 servers becoming unstable. Just think they went from likely a very few hundred to thousands of people still playing the game on the 360 to perhaps 25% of the people that got the game via the games
with gold promotion. I had a horrible time getting anything to work right and still from time to time it doesn't allow the car club or multiplayer.
