Forza Horizon Needing A reinstall

Hi all,

I tried launching Forza Horizon 4 through Game Pass, but it first of all wouldn’t start, after a few tries it said it needed an update. Then after going to update the game it wouldn’t start and the Xbox then proceeded to reset itself. Now it won’t launch
the game and is trying to reinstall. I’m guessing this will delete my entire save of the game? If so how can I complain?

As said above yes don't worry it's all on the cloud if saved there this is why sync is quite important

Hi, thank you for your reply. No error message, its just installing again. So there is a chance my save could be ok? Apologies, I haven’t posted and was unaware there was a forza forum.

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. Were you playing the game while your console was connected to Xbox Live? If so, your saved data would be backed up on our cloud server. This means that the next time you launch the game, your saved data would sync up
fromk the cloud servers and you would be right back where you left off. Here is the

Some games have the profile data online I think forza horizon is one of the games that saves online (syncing data is important for this reason). What error do you get when you try to reinstall the game in question?. There is also a forum page for Forza Horizon
4 as well.

Please note game pass games require a net connection to play.

Yes I was (I think!) connected. I’m pretty sure I was.
